Armoured CAT5E Cable Per Metre – Armoured network cable suitable for network installations in homes, outhouses, businesses etc. This cable has a PVC outer sheath and a galvanised steel wire armour below to protect the cores. This means it’s suitable for outdoor use as it’s waterproof, UV-resistant and protected against damage.

CAT 5 Armoured cable per metre
This armoured cat 5e cable is cut to length so if you just simply put in the quanity how metres you need it will be cut to the exact length you require.
The Armoured cat5 cable is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) and 24AWG (American Wire Gauge). The outer diameter is just shy of 1cm, measuring a total of 9mm OD. Like all Armoured cat5 cables we stock, the make up of the Steel is Galvanized. This is a premium build of cable and the best prices on-line for GSWA (not the cheaper corrugated steel tape). Our warehouse usually holds around 2000 mtrs of Armoured cat5 at any time.
Armoured cat5 cable is made up of an everyday Cat5e Ethernet Cable on the inside. Exactly like the data cable we would use for our home computer or Internet router. The main difference being, is this cat5 cable has a Galvanized Armoured Steel Wire plating protecting the 4 pairs of Ethernet cable. The cable is then layered with a Polyethylene Sheath (PE) which gives the outer jacket a protection against UV and moisture.
