1.5mm 5 Core Armoured Cable is an electrical cable designed to supply mains electrical power to a variety of applications. The 1.5mm refers to the cross-sectional area of each core in ‘mm²’.
This cable contains a steel wire armour below the outer sheath. This helps to protect each of the 5 copper cores below which makes the cable suitable for use in hazardous environments.
To terminate this cable into a junction box or device, you’d use a CW20S outdoor gland pack or a BW20S indoor gland pack. Do you need to attach this cable to a wall or structure? For this you’ll require a CC6 cable cleat.
